dam0007 Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 Apparently you have no brand loyalty but I like that! Always been a Shimano fan for reels, but like what Daiwa has been offering. Especially for the ridiculous deals! Rods, really digging the 13s now but still like to try other stuff. Would love to go to all one series of reels and series of rods in the future. Quote

dam0007 Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 How do you like the white Chronarch? Like it alot, casts good and has alot of power. The 7 for example I use for Spinner/Chatter/Buzz baits. I could pull chatter baits through heavy heavy weeds no problem. Just keep cranking. Quote

Super User kickerfish1 Posted July 4, 2014 Super User Posted July 4, 2014 Nice touches on the 50 series gems Matt! As you probably know I am pretty fond of smaller reels for a wide variety of techniques. Should make for some fun times fishing all those high end hardbaits! 1 Quote
Super User F14A-B Posted July 4, 2014 Super User Posted July 4, 2014 The Hooligan has some very tricked out JDM stuff, and there are a couple other guys on here too! But yea, hooligan takes a great reel and super freaks it out! Quote
Smallmouth Hunter Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 Wow Matt those things are insane!! I love the 51 shimanos too. I hope they make a curado 50/51 i. We still haven't seen SVS infinity in a 50 size yet, no? It's a shame it's been this long already Quote
thehooligan Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 Thanks guys. I'm really looking forward to the new conquest 50 series for 2015. That thing is gonna be a beast. Quote

thehooligan Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 Wow, you stocked up cheng. Nice reels, is that a zpi spool in the top one ? Quote
hzzhangc Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 I bought them second handed and I'm not familiar with daiwa parts but it seems like a RC 002. Pretty common spool. Wow, you stocked up cheng. Nice reels, is that a zpi spool in the top one ? 1 Quote
hzzhangc Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 I was planning to make order for my second corkish from the same store and can't find it anymore. Then I saw your post on tt. I like mine a lot especially for that price. My 602m doesn't balance perfectly with 6 oz reel but I think your reel should balance well on 642ml. Wow, you stocked up cheng. Nice reels, is that a zpi spool in the top one ? Quote
piscicidal Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 Nice shimano.. Does hawgtech sell the knob caps separately? Bootytrain, Yes, we sell the knob caps separately. They are not set up on the website for automatic ordering. I guess we should do that...I've been getting a ton of requests for anodized end caps lately. Anyway, just send me an email at support@hawgtech.com. $5 each. Quote

Super User Master Bait'r Posted July 11, 2014 Super User Posted July 11, 2014 That's bigger than anything I caught with that rod. Nice fish! Thanks again for hooking me up with that rod, it really is a joy to fish in every way! That 51E + Abec7's is absolutely perfect for it too. Spooled it with 10lb SX1 and it's just smiles for miles. So light. So smooth and quiet. So powerful. Gah, I should just call it quits for the day and go fishing now. Work is stupid. 1 Quote
