Super User tomustang Posted December 26, 2013 Super User Posted December 26, 2013 I have that blue TD-Z and I'm almost afraid to fish it. I've only had it out twice. I'm not at all into mating rods with reels based on what they look like together, but that Z looks SHWEEEET on an LTB. You can't leave that up to the imagination. Photos! Photos! Quote
Tim S. Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 You can't leave that up to the imagination. Photos! Photos! He means the blue TD-Z that I sold him. I posted pics of it back up this thread a little. Of course, he has added his own handle and knobs since then. Quote

DelcoSol Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Shimano Metanium XG and Shimano Expride Nice. I just picked up a Metanium as well. I got a good deal on it. I was suprised at how much it is like the Chronarch Ci4 I have. I have not got to cast either so I don't know about the performance. The biggest difference is the handle is much longer on the metanium. Quote
bootytrain Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Nice.. I don't think Ive ever read a performance comparison between the 2, maybe you can be the first lol. Suggestion.. fish the Metanium with the red brake blocks, then switch them out with the white ones Quote
