Thehooligan... very sharp setup! Isn't it a bit early to reach for the pop max!!!

I have the core 50mg paired up with 6'10 mh cumulus rod with 10# tatsu. To say this outfit impresses me would be an understatement. Casting distance and accuracy is phenomenal, the outfit is just smooth and comfortable, and everything that is happening with my bait is telegraphed so well, it leaves nothing in question.

Congrats on an outstanding combo!

I just picked that lure up as well with a dog-x and wanted to try them both out. And they fish amazing.

Im also still looking for that 6'10 cumulus, hope to get one soon...

Man, that's a lot of cumulus rods, sweet....

I was thinking the same thing...awesome.  Those sticks surely don't get enough love.  I am really hoping Shimano surprises us this summer with their replacements.

Everything looks pretty much like this. The 4 setups may be light compared to a lot of you, but I like it this way. It's straight forward, minimal, and saves me money. I never get into a situation where I wished I had another setup. Florida fishing is also pretty standard with baits, technique, and depth.

Revo STX / Mojo Bass 7' MH/F / Power Pro 50lb Braid (Pitching, Punching, Weighted Plastics)

Revo STX / Mojo Bass 7' M/F / P-Line Floroclear 12 lb (Weightless Plastics)

Revo S / Mojo Bass 7' MH/F / P-Line Floroclear 12 lb (Spinnerbaits, Crankbaits)

Revo S / Mojo Bass 6'8 MH/XF  P-Line Floroclear 12 lb (Top Water)

Revo S Spinning / Mojo Bass 7' M/F (Shore Fishing, Pond Fishing)

Picture 3 from Left to Right - (My Arsenal from 2012)

Avid Spinning 6'6" MH/F - Cardinal Agenda

Avid 6'6" MH/F - Daiwa Lexa 100 High Speed 7.1.1

Avid 6'6" M/F - Daiwa Lexa 100 6 to 1

Clarus 6'6" M/M - BPS Extreme 5 to 1

Compre 7'2" H/F - Citica G6

Veritas 7'3" MH/F - BPS PQ Tournament

Airrus Spinning Ultra XL 6'7" MH/F - Cardinal 302

Not pictured is my Loomis custom flipping stick (telescopic 7'6") paired with a BPS-PQ and Triumph 7' M/F paired with a Citica G7.  This year I decided to invest in more quality rods.  I do have other rods that aren't paired, I'm trying to sell.  In all it would be a count of 31, couple would serve as backup (Compre 6'10" MH/XF, BPS Extreme 7' MH/F and V Rod 7' M/F in process of using warranty due to reel seat issue, so I maybe getting a Crucial in the same power action in the coming weeks).

Nice grab! Looks like someone has been bitten by the jdm bug. Dare I ask what reel you got rid of to make room for the new addition?

thanks, got rid of a practically brand new chronarch 51. Ive been all over the place with baitcasters and found out i really like the daiwas the best. I picked up the 103 type f two weeks ago, yesterday i got a px type r, and today i got a good deal on a tdz 103ml. I decided to to keep my curado 51, i just love this reel and my core 51 is gonna go to cover some of these new additions, lol.

Good stuff. You will like the TDZ, the predecessor to the Steeze. I have 100m and it is stellar reel.

Your arsenal has been going bananas lately. Congrats on the cool gear! Should be an enjoyable year on the water even if the bite is tough.

Thanks kicker, I think in all my hobbies I go on a buying spree until I figure what I like best... Right now I've got it down to shimano rods, shimano spinning reels, and daiwa baitcasters.

When the money recoups it might be nrx time ;)

px r... this guy is jellous

Speaking of that reel, i had it out for the first time today and it was a pleasure to fish with. I also had my core 51 out as well comparing them and i couldnt find which one i liked better, both amazing reels...

On the downside, the tdz 103 i picked up was a let down. I open the box and the handle cover is missing, then i look at the spool and theres a hairline crack in it. Not sure if im going to be fixing this one up or hoping i can send it back for a refund....
