Super User Chris at Tech Posted February 11, 2012 Super User Posted February 11, 2012 This is what happens when your well-laid plans to fish get stomped on by a 20+ degree temp drop and 30mph winds -- your tackle goes to "Glamour Shots" First up, the combos. From L to R: Dobyns DX703S w/ Stradic FJ 2500 for shakey heads, split shot rigs and other finessee approaches Avid AC66MF w/ Revo STX for hard jerkbaits, topwaters and other moving baits Kistler Magnesium 69MHAPC w/ Revo STX for spinnerbaits, buzzbaits and chatterbaits Dobyns 683C w/ Revo Premier for weightless plastics Dobyns 703C w/ Remo Premier for senkos and light t-rigs Dobyns 704C w/ Zillion for paddletails, swimjigs, chatterbaits and C-rigs Dobyns 704C (Gen 1) w/ Revo STX for frogs Dobyns 705CB w/ Revo STX for lipless cranks, shallow lipped cranks and smaller jointed swimbaits Bass Pro Crankin Stick w/ Revo Winch for deep divers Dobyns DX744C w/ Zillion for C-rigs, football jigs and heavier t-rigs Daiwa Zillion 7MHF w/ Zillion for jigs, jigs and more jigs Dobyns 735C w/ Revo STX for big paddletails, and heavy cover fishing Bass Pro Extreme 7'6 H w/ Revo Toro for swimbaits Crap, I just realized I have 13 combos. Since that number is bad luck, I guess I should buy another combo Quote
Super User Chris at Tech Posted February 11, 2012 Super User Posted February 11, 2012 And the tackle Jigs, terminal, hooks n' stuff, deep cranks, topwater, jerkbaits n' rattletraps, hollow bodies, shallow cranks and swimbaits Quote

jkarol24 Posted February 18, 2012 Posted February 18, 2012 I love that old model pfleugger supreme XT spinning reels. Very fast, light, and perfectly balanced! Quote
The Rooster Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 HAHA, dude you should be a professional photographer for Bass Pro Shops. They'd sell more fishing reels with photos like those from sex appeal alone. That middle picture of the Quantum baitcast reel made it look like a sports car sitting in a darkened garage somewhere just waiting to be fired up and let loose. Quote
hatrix Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 Some of this stuff is absolutely amazing! I can't even comprehend owning some of this stuff. Having 20 high end rod and reel combos just blows me away. Plus the insane amounts of random tackle... I imagine a lot of you guys had to sleep on the couch over some of that stuff Quote
DRhodes Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 Diggy, Is it tough for you to use both right and left hand baitcasters? I would have a really hard time with that. BTW. Nice setups. 1 Quote

Diggy Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 Diggy, Is it tough for you to use both right and left hand baitcasters? I would have a really hard time with that. BTW. Nice setups. I prefer LH reels. I can use RH but the stuff that takes coordination like walking the dog gives me trouble at the moment. I can cast and reel all day RH though. Quote
Super User A-Jay Posted March 21, 2012 Super User Posted March 21, 2012 I've always wanted one of these - a little old school is good. A-Jay Quote

Fat-G Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 I just picked this rod up myself - awesome jig and worm rod. Heck yeah! I like the 745c and 784c ML too. Quote
Super User SoFlaBassAddict Posted May 11, 2012 Super User Posted May 11, 2012 I just picked this rod up myself - awesome jig and worm rod. It really is. That's the primary use I bought it for. It's a very versatile rod also. Not a bad spinnerbait stick. Doesn't do a bad job tossing a fluke either. Quote
