I tried one out and liked it, so with some serious over time I had that year, I bought one every week for three more weeks. I acquired three more recently from a member on this forum. For me, the price is right, good warranty, and best of all, made in the USA!!!! that "oddball" Powell was bought because of a great sale price. I have hauled some nice bass out of some serious wood cover with that rod on a squarebill, it is a beast for sure. Quote
flippin and pitchin Posted January 10, 2012 Posted January 10, 2012 better reel Premier or STX? Now tell me the truth................did you buy that collection with your own green ?? Quote
Georgia Jeff Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 Loosen up its a joke. I got a good laugh out of it. I'd post up mine but I don't have a digital camera with me at college. However last week I found two Chronarch 50 MG's new for about $100 each so I'm feeling pretty good about that deal That is a great deal. Want to sell one for a profit? Quote
Super User LgMouthGambler Posted January 11, 2012 Super User Posted January 11, 2012 some tackle Quote
jkarol24 Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 Heres my Abu Garcia Revo Premier on my old Vendetta. Decent rod but now the premier is sitting on a pink and purple powell endurance where she belongs Also have some Curado 200E7 reels, ones on a shimano crucial flippin stick and the other on an allstar. My revo STX looks good on a lamiglas crankin stick as well. Quote

jj'sbassinforfun Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Nice, but just remember...give KVD a Zebco 202 and he will still kick all our arses. It's what you know and what you can do with it. Well said. Some nice eye candy posted so far! Watch it the "monkey" is lurking! Quote
JacobK Posted February 7, 2012 Posted February 7, 2012 My small collection, the oddball revo STX was given to me as a gift so we'll see how it performs on the water this spring! If it's not up to par I'm swapping it out for another 200e7 haha. 3 heavy power fast action casting rods and 1 medium fast spinning. There's 65lb sufix performance braid on the 3 casting reels and I plan to put some smaller diameter braid on the spinning reel too. My ways are very unconventional but they work for me! Quote
