Dobyns DX744 w/200e7 spooled with 50lb Suffix 852 / 15lb flouro leader- All jig duties and larger texas rigged plastics up to 3/4oz. As well as rage shads and toads. triwbass Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 Since i see roll tide on your sig ill answer,,,seriously id say you r in excellent shape and id say your pretty dang good at choosing equipment too.......oh yeah roll tide Quote
PowerFinesse Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 Your choices are right on point, but remember the weakest link is the leader strength.. Have you ever tried striaght floro? The problem l ran into is on a hard hook set it will pop the leader due to zero stretch of the braid... Quote
Rolltide09 Posted March 22, 2011 Author Posted March 22, 2011 Yeah been noticing that. Was debating on running flouro again without the braid. Quote
