I just picked up a loomis GLX 802 and an 803.  I need to get a couplr reels for them and can't decide.  I want to make sure I get the right reels to  begin with and not have to try a bunch of different reels.  I am initially thinking a Sol, Alphas, Zillion, Curado 51, Chronarch 51mg, core.  Any suggestions would be awesome, especially from someone who has used these rods.

sol or alphas for sure. with the alphas you would have a super light combo.

I have the 803 GLX paired with a 51e... Great combo especially for lightweight presentations. Best rod I have ever fished.

I also have a 201E7 which was great for me all season. Its currently sitting on a St. Croix Avid 7' MHF.

I looked at the Core as well but it wasn't $$$$$$ better than the 51.

i think any of those reels would work great with your new loomis rods...   Go to a tackle shop and hold each one.. bring your rod.. see which one balances out the best and feels the best in your hand...

Like I said, I dont think you would go wrong if you chose any of them.
