BassinBoy Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 Does anyone have opinions about this line? Thanks! Quote
central.PA.bass Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 i have 20lb on my REVO STX for flipping and love it. Great strength and great for flippin Quote
Super User Hooligan Posted March 2, 2011 Super User Posted March 2, 2011 I've got a reel loaded with 10lb on a Little Cranker for small cranks. The line isn't bad, really. It's priced reasonably, and retains the better features of what I'm after line in that class for: castability, it's manageable, and it lies evenly on the reel. Overall, I'm pleased with it. It's earned it's keep. Quote
Jason_Barnucz Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 Great product. Been running this on many of my combos for two seasons now. If you are in the market for a good FC at a reasonable price this is it. I have been running 8lb or 6lb for DropShots, 10lb for tubes, cranks, jerkbaits and 12lb for Buzzbaits/Spinnerbaits. I use 17lb for light flipping/pitching. Quote

Pantera61 Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 Used it for 2 seasons without problem. Great stuff. Quote
Fat-G Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 If I try flourocarbon on a baitcasting rig this year, it will be P-Line Ultimate Flourocarbon. I have heard mixed reviews about the Trilene. Quote
Super User slonezp Posted March 2, 2011 Super User Posted March 2, 2011 I use it for leader on braid and have no complaints. Quote

I have heard mixed reviews about the Trilene. Out of the FC I've tried, (Seagaur AbrazX, InvizX, Red Label, P-Line, Trilene, Sufix,) I'd pass on the P-Line and go for some AbrazX, InvizX, or Sufix. I find Sufix as a nice medium between manageability and abrasion. Quote
B-Dozer Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 You should try Cabelas 100% Fluoro, I like it better than anything I have tried Quote

Plus I can get it for a filthy low price. I'll try AbrazX too. Ps- PM coming your way soon. Quote
MNGeorge Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 Before I switched to all braided line, I tried a number of the name brand fluoro's and found the Trilene 100% to be the best for manageability on the spool...almost as good as mono, but not quite. I'm confident you will not be disappointed in it. Quote
