Yo-Zuri Hybrid questions

I ask myself two questions with my fishing line: (a) is it abrasion resistant; and ( how tough/good of knot will it hold.  For both of these reasons, you cannot beat yo zuri.  If your looking for something inexpensive and without all the headaches that come with some of the more expensive fluoro's, get some Yo-zure.  I have yet to meet a fish that told me it didn't like to bite the lure at the end because of the yo-zuri that it was tied too

i find yo-zuri hybrid to be extremely tough...kinda along the lines of trilene XT

nope

not really. i use fluoro when the water is super clear and/or when i need a line that sinks and stays down (e.g., fishing with jerkbaits would be a perfect example: usually a clear water bait and you want the lure to not float back up between jerks).

Yes, I use ultrasoft on my bc reels, as well as my spinning reels. I have used 8 to 20lb test ultrasoft on bc reels w/o any issues.

Indeed. I have a spool of Tatsu for my favorite rig but I picked up 600 yard spools of 6,8, 12 and 15 to round out my options.

A couple of other added benefits are that, to me at least, hybrid is much more castable than 100% fluoro.  It's also a more versatile line to me.
