So although I am lucky enough to be able to pick up curado's for a good price new. I am a broke high school kid working 2 jobs to support my fishing habit! Tomorrow the pro qualifier will be on sale for 79.99 with 15 dollars off of that with a trade in would make it 64.99. So I am curious how have these reels treated you? problems? How do they compare 2 Curado's I have 2 Curado's will I notice a big downgrade? Is it worth it just to shell out the 130 for a new curado? Working at a tackle shop has its privilege's   :)

Pro Qualifiers are great reels.  Good bargain on a quality product.  At the sale price, they're a steal.  Never had a complaint with the ones that I've had.  They aren't a Curado, but they're still a darn good reel.

I have three that have worked perfectly. For $65 you cannot go wrong in my opinion. There are many threads on this reel, and even more opinions. Good luck.

I have one and am about to pick up another one today. Great reel, like that it comes in as many or more gear ratios as the extreme. But, if you are really, really tight on money, buy the extreme or the bionic and save a little bit. But if you're set on the PQ get it.

For the money its tough to beat. Things you will notice is the size difference and overall smoothness.
