Super User Micro Posted August 17, 2010 Super User Posted August 17, 2010 Here are my newest reels. Just came in today. The Revos I sold paid for these. In terms of smoothness, the Stradic has VERY little on the Symetre. Quote
Super User BASSclary Posted August 17, 2010 Author Super User Posted August 17, 2010 sqhertz, those are some fine pictures don't say they aren't. But as a tip nothing beats natural light when it comes to photo's 8-) Quote

SJB1226 Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 Those two round reels are very.....colorful.... I never liked the Anodized pink color on the Ito but I own all the Limited Ito reels and LOVE them all no Daiwa collector/Enthusiast's collection is complete without all the Daiwa/Ito limited stuff... HOWEVER I have 6 M-Ito's, 5 lites and those reels are fishing machines... (Two of the Ito's are new in box and 1 lite is new in box in the reel display case) Those "Colorful" round reels are casting beasts... they will both go VERY low in casting weight and preform as good as pretty much any low-pro and out preform A LOT of them... The M-lite's are one of my fav reels and IMHO the best casting round reel one can touch... with the ZPI Shallow spool (The one in the pic has the deep spool) my other 3 all have the shallow spool (the new in box one has stock spool). can cast 1/8oz with ease on the right rod.. and go even lower if you went down in line size.. I dont know where the would bottom out but I can tell you its low All the ones that I use have ABEC 7 orange seals (New in box are all stock to uphold resale value). Quote
BossHoss Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 Here are a few random ones I like of my picture collection and some of my older gear. Quote

Super User SoFlaBassAddict Posted August 19, 2010 Super User Posted August 19, 2010 I'm glad I'm not the only one with cork that looks like it gets used regularly. I really need to clean mine up somehow. Some of the fillers have come out. Quote
Super User SPEEDBEAD. Posted August 19, 2010 Super User Posted August 19, 2010 Chronarch 51mg on a custom spiral wrapped Alpster rod, 6'8" MH Shikari pitching BEAST. ;D Quote
Super User BASSclary Posted August 19, 2010 Author Super User Posted August 19, 2010 SBJ what kinda reel is that with the clear side cover? Is that an after-market part or did it come stock, seeing the gears is so sick! ;D Quote

And to fill in missing clumps of cork take a cork form a wine bottle and sand it down till there's nothing left. Then mix all the shavings with glue and fill in the cork. Quote

Is that an after-market part or did it come stock, seeing the gears is so sick! ;D Thats a Daiwa Alphas Ito Ai... very sweet reels... a little hard to keep looking reel good.. but they are light lure casting machines... And rock solid brutes that handle anything as long as lots of line cap. isnt needed... I have 5-6 of them that I fish and a few new ones and love them all.. the fish like a pro and look pretty sweet to! they clear polycarbonate palm side plate looks pretty sick. 4 of mine have ABEC9's on the spools and 2 have Orange seal ABEC7's let me tell you with a those bearing upgrades on the right rod and right line they can get down really low in casting weight... ide say they pretty much bottom out around 3 to 3 1/2 grams...Also just to let you know they can be found for really good prices.. I bought 2X new in box ones for 395.00 for both (These are in the Reel display case never fished)... and dont think i paid over 180 for the others and all was in very good to mint condition... ones with some boat rash can be had 150ish... plus they just fit inside your hand so perfectly.. Super User SPEEDBEAD. Posted August 19, 2010 Super User Posted August 19, 2010 Yep, it comes that way. Ito is a pretty distinguished designer. If I am not confusing him with another, he also does (or did) work for Megabass on some of their cooler looking baits. I have an Ito Pop Max that is just sick looking. Quote
