OHIO Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 I recently picked up a Vendetta to replace a broken Veritas. It's a 7' MH/F with a lure weight of 1/2-3/4 oz. I'm taking it back to Bass Pro to get a different Vendetta that's a 7' MH/F with a lure weight of 1/4-1 oz. Maybe this a dumb question, but why are the lure weights different if they are both 7' MH/F? Just curious. Quote
kLuo Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 In my experience, the only way that could happen is if one was a baitcasting rod and the other was a spinning rod. Quote

The first one isn't even listed on Abu's site, only the 1/4-1 oz model. As a matter of fact, there isn't a single Vendetta listed on their site with a 1/2-3/4 oz lure range. Quote
Super User ww2farmer Posted February 1, 2011 Super User Posted February 1, 2011 thats got to be a misprinted lable, I would bet the rods are the same. Quote
OHIO Posted February 1, 2011 Author Posted February 1, 2011 http://www.basspro.com/Abu-Garcia-Vendetta-Trigger-Rods/product/10203992/-1631153 http://www.***.com/Abu_Garcia_Vendetta_Casting_Rods/descpage-AGVCR.html I don't think it's a misprint, but I could be wrong. I did try casting a 1/4 oz jig on it and it was pretty hard. I'm going to Bass Pro this weekend to exchange the rod and I'll see if they have both in stock. Quote
