Notice the part where he said the first day he tried it he won an Elite Series event on SML? Call me crazy, but Carrington aint fishing the Elites, Bassclary. The first day that i left the plastic on, i won an elite series event on SML. I do it and you should to. ps... wouldnt leaving the plastic on decrease the sensitivity You are giving him inaccurate information. haha Quote

People buy such nice stuff they scared to death to use it. I've seen fabric slipcovers but plastic on the sofa is a new one on me though. Quote
BassThumb Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 There are a few different rod handle tapes that you can try. Some people like a few wraps of hockey tape around the reel seat. I personally like the feel of tacky, untreated cork. Quote
