Shadcranker Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 I'm a Bandit and Norman guy myself, although I've been fishing a lot of the Strike King bait lately (Ser 5 & 6). Quote
NEBassMan Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 always like Rapala stuff, and have great success with it. Decently priced, good selection, and nice patterns. Jason Quote
Super User Tin Posted January 20, 2008 Super User Posted January 20, 2008 Strike King because of there series 1 and 3's. The Red Eye lipless series is the best on the market imo. Quote
Super User Micro Posted January 20, 2008 Super User Posted January 20, 2008 Rapalas and Bombers. Rapalas if I can only choose one. Quote
BassFishingMachine Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 I voted for Rapala because they make some great baits with great prices. I use a decent amount of Luckycraft hardbaits too but the Rapala hard jerkbaits produce better for me then the LC hard jerkbaits. The action of the Lc jerkbaits are alot nicer, but the fish just seem to hit the Rapalas more for me. My 2nd choice would probably be a tie between Lc/Yozuri. Quote
bmadd Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 Close but Bandit edges out on Strike King...Bandit just has a lot more colors Quote
fishingfourfun Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 Rapala if I had to choose just one. Quote
Super User RoLo Posted January 21, 2008 Super User Posted January 21, 2008 Bill Lewis (rat-l-trap) It don't need a lip to be a crankbait Roger Quote
Super User ww2farmer Posted January 21, 2008 Super User Posted January 21, 2008 Count me as a Rapala guy, but also have ALOT of Rat-L-Traps, Bandits, and Mann's 1-'s. Quote
Stringjam Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 This site's own Marty Burns (aka Big M) He can make pretty much anything I want or need from -1' to +20' Quote
Super User islandbass Posted January 21, 2008 Super User Posted January 21, 2008 Another for Rapala as the favorite, but I am not completely loyal to one brand. If I were forced to fish with lures from only one company, I could do quite well with Rapala. Quote
7magJake Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 None of these. Bill Lewis Lures is my personal favortie. Small company with a big impact on the fishing industry. Quote
Super User Sam Posted January 21, 2008 Super User Posted January 21, 2008 I always check out the Bandits first. Then the Lucky Crafts. Followed by the Rapalas. Then Bomber. Rat-L-Traps are favorite lipless cranks. Quote
Super User .dsaavedra. Posted January 22, 2008 Super User Posted January 22, 2008 my favorite is by far rapala. bandit comes in second, and bomber in close third. Quote
Super User .dsaavedra. Posted January 22, 2008 Super User Posted January 22, 2008 Who makes the fat free shad? bomber used to make it, not sure if they still do, but i know that Xcalibur is making them now. Quote
SBM-RL Posted January 22, 2008 Posted January 22, 2008 not brand loyal at all when it comes to crankbaits probably own 20 different brands of cranks seriously. but my #1 1. Bagely 2.Lucky Craft 3.Rapala Quote
deep-cranker Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 Poe's, brians bees, rapala, lee sisson, bass hunters custom crankbaits, and persuader lures. .dsaavedra. Bomber makes the fat free shad. Xcalibur us to make them. Quote
