I have a " Good" buddy who uses them. They are nothing special, actualy pretty cheap. But they are reliable for him. He pairs them up with 6'6" ML St Croix Premier spinning rods, and use's 8lb Vanish on them. I can't for sure say that he knows what he's doing though  :) Ask J. Francho.

Have serviced quit a few over the years. They are an OK reel, the main problem I have with the reel is the graphite frame, side-plate, and rotor, lots of flex during a good fighting run.

The reel is Dyna-Balanced to stop a lot of reel wobble from the (Quickfire II) trigger section spinning.

There are a lot better spinning reels in the Shimano arsenal.
