I am looking to get a new/used reel to pitch and flip with.  My Revo silvermax is getting pretty worn down and will be giving it to a buddy of mine so he can fix it up and use it.

What reels would you guys suggest?  Only looking to spend about 120 bucks or so...

At 120 bucks, it's kind of hard to beat a Citica.

I already have a citica and am thinking about getting something I don't have yet... I have both the D and E and prefer the D but isn't the gear ratio a little low for pitching on those?

The Quantum Accurist is $99 new and IMO is an outstanding deal. Aluminum frame and side plate, solid drag (ceramic), five bearings, fast retrieve (7.0:1), good braking system. Pretty much every thing you need in a pitching/flipping reel.

if you up that money 25 more dollars, you can get a brand new shimano curado off of ebay.

I sure do. It's at home though so I'll have to go home this weekend and grab it since I'm on campus right now. It's like a 20 minute drive though so it shouldn't be a problem.

I'll cut you a deal and do 140 local pickup. I got the Zillion from Micro a while back and have only used it on 3 outings so the internals are still pretty much flawless. There's one pinhead ding on top of the reel from when I put it down to unhook a fish and it somehow got scratched by a pebble.
