Was thinking of buying a vendetta paired with a revo. But the BPS pro qualifier looks just as good and half the price. the qualifier is 8.8oz and the revo is 8.89oz. So i dont think it would really make a difference, but i just came here to get some good input.

Spend $20 more and get the Carbonlite in my opinion.

I have two 7-3 Vendettas with Revo SX's on them and love them.  That is definitely a good combo.

I have that combo right now and I love it. PQs and Vendettas are great products, especially for the price.

Well, im def gonna go with the PQ, might even buy 2 to put on on my extra rod! But, can I get any input from people who have used the BPS CarbonLite rod?

I have a few revos, and for the money. Get the Pro-Q. I don't plan to sell mine, they preform great. Durability, can't say much about that. I have had a couple of mine for 2 seasons now, and have had no trouble. Just clean and lube like other reels and I think they will be good for years. I have asked a couple reel service guys, and they say they well made reels except for the drag system. upgrade that with a carbontex and they say it's a fine set-up.

I have a Carbonlite spinning rod and I love it. It's pretty durable and sensitive.

I can't say much about the casting model because I haven't used one, but I don't think it's much different than the spinning rod.

I don't think you will be disappointed with it if you end up buying it.

I had a carbonlite in both casting and spinning.  I really liked the rods, really did.  But both were returned because of the hook holders rusting.  If I pay that much for a rod, it shouldn't rust with less than 1 season on them.

Ive never fished with the carbonlite rods but have held them few times and i like them! Going to pick me a couple up soon!  ;)

PQ's are great reels and on sale for $70.00, the best deal out there. Forget about re-sale. It's not a car. You won't be wanting to sell it anyway. ;)

Exact same reason I returned both my casting rod and spinning rod.

Where are the $70 PQ's?  I saw $89.99 on line at BPS.

I have a 2010 Pro Qualifier 6.4:1 on a 7' M/F Carbonlite rod, and I love this setup.  I use mine for t-rigs, jigs up to 3/8 oz., stuff like that.  Very sensitive and light setup.

I am going to look at getting another Pro Qualifier in the lower gear ratio and possibly pair it up with the 7' Med/Mod Carbonlite for crankbaits.
