Im planning on getting either of these rods because they are realativly cheap and would make a good back up rod.

Just wondering if anybody has had any experience on these rods and which on they liked the best.

Thanks guys! ;)

I'd get a Falcon HD or Original, both new are less than $90

The Berkley shock is wimpy , only good for crank baits , the other one I can't comment on since I've never used one.

Exactly what I was gonna say.

Its gotta be under $50. haha I gotta save some of my xmas money and 50 is all I can afford to spend on the rod. Preferably any rod that is 7-7'8 foot or more, medium heavy, 1 piece and $50-

I know thats pretty picky but...luckly the vengeance fits all those.

I haven't used a Lightning Shock, however I do own a Vengeance (albeit spinning) and love the rod. I've heard some negative comments about the spinning rods in particular but no problems so far here.

Everyone I have heard with a vengeance has enjoyed the rod. It's not going to be the lightest but it's hard if not impossible to beat for the price.

Diawa Tierra rods are the best rod under $50.  Sportsman warehouse is where i got mine 45 for the big ( 7-7'6 rods) and 39 for the 6'6.  9-10 guides depending on rod, IM7 blank. and Diawa name best one i have found.

I have contemplated getting a Vengence since they were released but never did.  I personally feel they are the best looking rod that Abu has made, alot closer to tge JDM look that they were going for.  I would also look at the Fenwick Eagle GT, they feel really nice and are lighter than the Vengence IIRC.  I don't care too much for the shock buy the standard lightening rod is a good choice.

There is a possibility we may see an increased line up at some point. It really depends on demand. If the market demands it, they will come. So ask your retailer for those things you'd like to see.
