Hey all, well you might have seen my earlier posts asking about different rods and I had my sights set on a St. Croix Avid after some research. My parents came to visit my wife and I for Thanksgiving and we also decided to celebrate Christmas because they are not going to get to on the actual day. Anyway, my mother said lets go to bass pro and you can choose a rod. Now, I was only looking at cheaper rods, when she tells me "I was planing on spending around $200 to $250" my eyes got wide and there it was, my new rod, a St. Croix Legend Tournament Bass rod. I am extremely happy with it and couldn't be more spoiled. haha ;D I just had to brag.

happy fishing to all

Got to fish with it yesterday, only caught one in the cold (it was 43 degrees I believe, and that's cold for a FL boy) anyway, the one I caught on a GY Kreature was a 2.5 to 3, he wasn't very long but he had a gut. ;D

Congrats on the great rod... that's a heck of a present! The LTB was my first higher end rod and I was immediately blown away with how light and sensitive it was. Enjoy.

:)
