Lol he probably only recommended FireLine because ABU and Berkley are all in that large fishing company orgy they call "Pure Fishing" ;D

duurrr , i totally did not think of that lol. they need to start selling sampler spools with like 60-75 yds of line. im starting to accumulate half spools of braid.  :;)

they were talking about fused fireline.i hate fused fireline.i love fireline braid.it also has more body which is why i like it.i also do as they say and use a line the same diameter as the mono i would use.i never get wind knots with fireline braid on my pflueger reels.

nope. all the spools ive seen have 125+ yds of line which is great and all , but i dont use all of it for one reel. if i dont like it , the rest sits there. 60yds would be perfect.

You must be using some small spools then. haha  ;D

I used Cabela's Ripcord Si Plus in 2lb dia. on a ultralite and had no problems very smooth line and very limp.
