Super User .ghoti. Posted October 21, 2010 Super User Posted October 21, 2010 A couple of years ago I had Daiwas, Shimanos, Quantums, Pfleugers, BPS and Revos. Been slowly moving towards all Daiwas. The current Daiwa line-up is 4 Fuegos, 3 Alphas, 3 Millionaires, 2 153 HSTAs, a Zillion, a TD-X and 2 Capricorn spinners. I still have 2 Revo STXs, 2 Quantum Energy PT spinners, and a Pfleuger Supreme spinner in the non-Daiwa line-up. Quote
Nibbles Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 I usually get my reels when I see a good deal, or when I just want to try out out during my search for "the perfect reel". As of now I'm using 2 Fuego Lefties, a Curado 100D, a Zillion 100HA and an old model Fuego 2000 spinning reel, all mounted on a variety of rods. Sitting in my closet are Fuego righties, Citica D's, a Revo STX and a pair of Trion GX-7's. Quote
Vinny Chase Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 Every single one of my reels is a Shimano execpt one Revo which I got because of the Wiley promo Quote
Super User new2BC4bass Posted October 22, 2010 Super User Posted October 22, 2010 I'm way behind most of you in numbers. Just started using baitcasting reels this year. Like most mine were purchased because of price. 2 Fuegos from TW on closeout. Wish I could have bought more of them. ;D Zillion 50th, '09 STX, Alphas ito, Cabela's Prodigy with a Procaster being delivered today. The Procaster is one of two RH reels and is suppose to be for my oldest grandson. If he doesn't want it, then it will be mine. The other rightie is on my dedicated cranking rod at the suggestion of a friend based on what rods I owned at the time. It is the ito. My wish list is for more TDZ reels, a '10 Premier and a few Shimanos. : Quote
Dan-K Posted October 23, 2010 Posted October 23, 2010 2 Citica 201E's, 3 Curado 201E7's, one Castaic 201.... All but one on Dobyn's rods, but the Excell 7116 will soon be handed over to the wife and replaced with a Champion 805. My two spining reels are shakespeare inspinity's, same as the Pfluger President spinning but only $36 at Wal-Mart Quote
Super User Hammer 4 Posted October 23, 2010 Super User Posted October 23, 2010 All of mine are Shimano, except 1 bp extrem, which just sits in a box..lol Chronarch Curado Castaic Stradic Sharah Quote
Super User slonezp Posted October 23, 2010 Super User Posted October 23, 2010 I have Abu's, an Ardent, Daiwa's, and BPS. The Diawa's and BPS collect dust in the garage. I just like the way the Abu's feel versus the other 2 brands Quote
flippin and pitchin Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 I own reels by six different manufactures. My favorite reel is still the old Lews Speedspools but parts are not to be had. Sooooo, made the move to the Revo line up and have been very happy. There are so many superb products out there, you can't really beef any of them. Quote
