Good reel. In case you haven't read it, this thread will tell you all you need to know.

One more thing. After a few trips to confirm it works ok, you may want to have it cleaned and lubed. It's likely going to be packed with grease and over oiled.

agreed. these respond really well to a cleaning and lubing.

I like mine. It's mounted on an Avid 7' MH/F rod and spooled with Cortland 50# Masterbraid. I also have an '09 Premier that I'm very happy with 8-)

I'm the guy that takes a brand-new reel, opens it up and completely dis-assembles it, flushes out all the bearings and gives it a "proper" lubricating. Your casting performance will be significantly improved if you at least flush the spool bearings and lube with a light bearing oil. Same goes for the Curado's

You won't be disappointed.  Good choice.

Well if I do get it cleaned a lubed I'll probably do it myself since I like to take things apart to see how they work.  That being said I'll take precautions to make sure I can put back together and have it in good working order when I get it out on the water. Hopefully all goes well :)
