Do any of you have any advice or good experience with these?  They have some Blade Dancers on sale at my local Gander Mountain and I was just wondering if I should pick some up.

From what I have read most guys don't like them at all. I did like them but 2 years ago they stopped producing for me so they went into the "extras" box. If you do get some sharpen the hooks right away, most of mine were dull out of the box.

I throw one on every once in a while. Never really produced anything great. BUT I almost had a heart attack once while I was vertically jigging one. Just when I started to bring it out of the water, a nice brown trout came storming up from below.........of coarse it scared the crap out of me and I pulled the bait out of the water.

But for bass......better options out there.

Thanks guys!

I may not use them for bass fishing so much just because I already have my favs for bass.  But I was thinking about using them for northerns and walleyes when I take my annual trip to Canada.

I know they work. My brother and another guy I know were doing very well with them.  I tried them for a bit had a fish on and never went back to it.  They work though.

They have worked well for my father in law and I.  This is mainly pond fishing dragging them through weeds.

I haven't tried the larger skirted ones, but I have used the smaller ones without the weedguard, and I did catch a few fish on them (mostly slimedarts).  I'm looking forward to trying out the large skirted ones in the slop this summer.

I do think the action, especially on the fall, is incredible  8-)

Oh, and the mini-sized ones are good for bluegill.

My brother and I fish them in a river in the spring. I use the glow/chartreuse color. In one outing, we caught bass, walleye, and pike.

You will need to sharpen the hooks... right out of the box.

In the past I've only heard bad things about them, but it seems like some people like them. As for me I don't really like any of Berkley's hardbaits, I pretty much only buy Berkley for softbaits.

I've heard a lot of good stuff about 'em. My friend was visting realatives in Michigan. and they were bustin up the walleyes on 'em. I haven't used them that much as I prefer to stick with my "select few" lures. But if they're on sale I'd pick some up and try it when the bites are slow.  ;)

Better options are out there but....the skirted weedless ones works wonders at times in the slop.Drag it through the pads, its pretty cool.Have had a small amount of success with the mini ones on crappie.
