I am sure this topic has been brought up, but I could not find it.

Has anyone used Spiderwire Invisibraid?  It is white and I am not sure if fish are getting spooked.  I have been catching a handful of bass lately and I put this on to try it and I dont seem to be getting my handful.  I did catch a 3 1/2 pounder on it, but I am just not sure.

I love the feel of the braid and I was going to try the Camo braid.

Any thoughts or tips.

I think it really depends on the water clarity in the lake/river you're fishing.  If it's clear(ish), consider putting a fluoro leader on to increase your confidence.  Whether or not the fish care... who knows... but its your confidence that matters!

Invisi---it isn't. The fish dont' care though. I don't care for it due to the slick finish applied that  causes digging in on the reel spool. I still have it on one baitcaster that I rarely use and it is on a Spidercast model that should prevent the digging it since it has a fast level wind.

Save a few bucks and camo the white Spiderwire line you have with a couple of permanent markers.

While I'm not familiar with that line, I'm sure the fish can see it. But I tend to agree with Wayne that the fish don't care. That's why I confidently fish braid without a leader. But, as Curls said, you need to do what you feel confident with.

I really didnt like my expirence with spiderwire braided line. The line feels like it has almost has been coated in wax, and isnt round at all! Power Pro!  ;)

Invisibraid is GARBAGE. After you lose a bunch of lures because it digs in and cuts itself snapping off your lures. You'll wish you never wasted money on it.

Fan of Daiwa Samurai here. I tried the invisibraid, fireline, power pro. Settled on the Samurai.

Yes, it costs more, but the performance is worth it. Plus its probably cheaper in the long run, when you count it the birds nests and line snaps and lost lures with some other braids.
