Are the Champion rods black down the blank except for the silver part where the logo is? If they are is it the graphite-look or is it glossy?

They are matte black down the blank.  Very sharp looking rods.

Oh #@$! I thought they were silver and blue down the blank.

Matte black is my favorite color LOL.
