Super User .dsaavedra. Posted February 9, 2008 Super User Posted February 9, 2008 that spro looks mighty fine Quote
Branuss04 Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 The spro is the first swimbait I bought and the first swimbait to produce fish for me. I've talked to some people who use them and they have a hard time catching anything with it. I think it's a pretty sweet bait, i've throwin it into a rock before and it came out fine, just a little chip in the paint. One thing I found out (Especially with the slow sink) is to have a drop shot or wacky rig close because I always get a ton of followers. Practice giving it a little jerk of the rodtip when you get a follower to turn the bait around in the water. Sometimes they strike after doing that. Good luck and nice baits. Quote
Super User Tin Posted February 9, 2008 Super User Posted February 9, 2008 FedEx :-X Those baits... Quote
Super User fourbizz Posted February 9, 2008 Super User Posted February 9, 2008 those little ospreys are a cool little bait Quote

Super User cart7t Posted February 10, 2008 Super User Posted February 10, 2008 A rainbow trout swimbait in Oklahoma? :-? Quote
Super User Crestliner2008 Posted February 10, 2008 Super User Posted February 10, 2008 Absolutely beautiful looking lures! Hope to try one out this coming season as well. Quote
flipin4bass Posted February 10, 2008 Author Posted February 10, 2008 Why not Mr. Carp? Next time you use Google Earth, map, or like program, check out the lakes in the southeast part of my state. We also have trout fishing in a few of our streams here. I've caught bass on lures sporting both the rainbow and brown trout patterns. Oh yeah, those lakes you'll see down there were stocked with Florida bass in the 1980's. Not all of Oklahoma is flat and barren......I think you'd be surprised. Here's a nice trout stream below Broken Bow Lake. Quote
