I am looking for a place to by peg board and the pegs to fit into them so I have a place to store bags of plastics, along with crankbaits and the like.

Does anyone know of a place to pick up a peg board and the pegs?

Yes, that't right.  Lowe's; Home Depot; Wal-Mart.

You may try Staples and Office Max but I don't remember seeing them there.

I have them in my garage to hand stuff on and the metal pegs come in all shapes and sizes.

I was thinking of getting a small chest of draws or one of those white five-drawer storage conatiners and start putting my plastics and hard baits in them.

I have to give it more thought.

I was thinking that a craft store would have something like a pegboard, but I think Lowes or Home depot would have something more along the lines that Im looking for.

I currently have one of those 6 drawer storage containers and that thing is jam packed.  I'd need to buy another one, but I think the peg board would be much better to keep everything organized and neat.

Any hardware on up to home store will have pegs and peg board. I love the stuff myself.

Some tips:

1) Buy the pegs and other items you will be using on the ped board FIRST. Get matching items, some things are for 1/4 inch hole pegboard, some are for 1/8 inch.

2) Choose matching peg board. There are 2 different size peg boards. 1/8 inch holes, and 1/4 inch holes. It's best to try and have the hardware and pegboard match. 1/8 hardware will work in the 1/4 board, but it doesn't work the best. If you, somewhere down the road, find something 1/4 you want to use in the 1/8, you could drill those holes bigger to make it work.

3) If you don't have a finished wall, you can mount the board right to the studs. If you have a finished wall, frame the back side of the sheet with 1"X2" pine board. If you have a lot of weight, running strips down the middle helps too. On a 4X8 sheet, I frame the outside, and run one down the middle, the narrow width, then mount the sheet so it's 4 high and 8 feet wide, that way I don't have to bend over or reach up to get things.

4) Use screws to assemble, you may want to change it or move it some day. There is a good chance of damaging the board trying to get nails out.

Just a heads up - I was at Home Depot this weekend and they had a 75% off sale on home storage stuff.  IE 4 drawer rubbermaid items, etc.  I didn't check to see if they had peg board on sale though.

I use the drawer system for my maps, plastics, and other items I buy in bulk and I really like it.  I have 4 that I use in my system currently but I could go with more as my tackle grows (Thanks to the Bait Monkey of course, he upped my monthly quota)

I was just thinking about it.  One of the Elite Series pros is sponsored by Aligator board.  It is a Metal Pegboard system that seems very nice but I've heard its pretty pricy as well.

I went to Lowes this morning and picked up the board and the pegs.

Only cost me $33.00!

Thanks for all the help.

Once I get it all together, I'll try and post a few pics.

homedepot is the place to find it all. that is where I did, and you saw my set. the peg board is in the lumber side where the plywood is. Its sold in 4x8 sheets,(white and bronw colors) sometimes you can find some in culled lumber. If you know the size you need they can cut it there for you. get some 1x2 to make a frame on the back and screw it to a wall. all the pegs are found in the tools section. they have lots of specialty hooks that might make it easy to custonize your rack the way you need.

You already saw mine but here it is again .

nice set up . looks pretty good, by the way nice summit sticker, it's not bad until the "baitmonkey" pulls for car parts.
