Super User SoFlaBassAddict Posted August 6, 2010 Super User Posted August 6, 2010 Kind of a silly poll IMO. The Curado is the better reel. The Citica is probably the best bang for the buck out of the two reels though. Quote
Super User skunked_again Posted August 7, 2010 Super User Posted August 7, 2010 there is no right answer. Quote
Stasher1 Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 I bought a Citica 200e and a Curado 200e7 within a few days of each other. The Citica is long gone but the Curado remains. Quote
fishermantony Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 I have both and I believe the Curado is just the better reel, like someone else has already stated, just made with higher quality components. Quote
Super User Grey Wolf Posted August 7, 2010 Super User Posted August 7, 2010 Is this a trick question ? Quote
Super User grimlin Posted August 7, 2010 Super User Posted August 7, 2010 Is this a trick question ? I agree..they'd both would work for everything.Curado would toss slightly lighter lures a littler better.About the only difference. If you can afford a Curado,I'd say go for it No Questions Ask. Indianafishstick Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 They are the exact same reel with the exception of one bearing and a low mass spool in the Curado to help throw lighter weights. Having said that the Curado is the better reel of the two...but I took my Curados back for more Citicas...I couldnt justify the extra 60 bucks for the small amount of difference in performance. Quote
BrASSmonkey Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 The Curados can throw a wider range of lures, while I feel that teh 6.3:1 gear ratio is the more versatile ratio. So the better all around reel is a Curado with a Citica gear set. Quote
