He actually doesnt sell it yet he can just get it. He doesnt wanna stock up until like January so he is in time for Spring. And he doesnt buy expensive gear.

Trust me, alot of stuff gets bought and sold when there's ice out....well, maybe not in a retail setting

Well the point of sponsors at my age is to save money by getting discounts. I know 3 or 4 ppl that are sponsored and they are like 13. And I think I want to go with Abu Garcia cause I can get them wholesale and get there stuff really cheap like the Premier I can get for $180 brand new. But what about rods, if I were to stick with one company should I go with Abu? or someone else

If you are only looking for sponsorships because you want some sweet deals on gear then you are in for a wild ride! What sponsors really want form you is to promote their product in a professional manner.

As for the reels i choose niether because I would go with BPS for less expensive baitcasters becuase of the Pro Q's. I would also go with quantum too because of their accurist reels which are great. You can find the old accurist on ebay for as low as $30 new.

Shouldn't you be concentrating on becoming a better fisherman instead of worrying about sponsorships ?

No offense, but you're one of a million.

I'm off to the concession stand for some popcorn. Anybody want anything ? Junior Mints ? Milk Duds ?

Sponsorship isnt a big deal to me. I just want to know what company will pay off in the long run. I think Abu is good cause they have great reels, and good rods and I can get them wholesale. For now im going with Abu

Im just second guessin my decision, cause everyone says the citicas are amazing.

Ok this is one of my last questions, do you think I should stick with a brand or just buy reels? What do you do and why should I do it?

Buy whatever you feel will work the best for "YOU."  Opinions are like...well, you know where that saying goes.

A couple of days ago I started a tread about the revo sx vs. the stx.  Well,  I ended up buying a citica.  I already have a curado,  chronarch and a core.  While the citica is the least of these 4 reels it is certainly no slouch.  I used it for the first time today and was very impressed.

As far as the whole sponsorship thing,  I'm clueless.  However,  I am still intriged by the Abu Revo's and will probably get one someday.

What I can say for sure is,  for $,  the citica E is a heck of a reel.  Very good.  I'm a die hard shimano guy because of my experiences with them.  That being said,  I wouldn't be afraid to venture out and try something though.

Like others have posted I'm sure either choice wouldn't be a bad one.

Ok as of now im not gonna buy only one brand, first I will probably buy a Citica or a Accurist. Now I want to know if the reax is anygood and if there is any other white reels out there

The good news is, in a few years (or months) you won't care about this decision at all, so it is a win-win.  Get whatever you like.  Brand doesn't matter.  Even guys who have sponsors (as long as they have some character) fish what they like.  If you like it and it is within reach, fish it.  If you don't, don't; that is the only thing on which you should base your decision.  If you buy something you aren't sure you like because someone else says you should, you will be disappointed in the long run.

Raisinets, please.
