I agree with brushhoggin. Get over it. I find it sad that some of you are making decisions about a stranger's character based upon capitalization or punctuation. That doesn't mean he is lazy. For all we know he has a better work ethic than any of us.  ::)

Now this guy said it perfect! nicely spoken Buddy.

all the people B!@#H about Grammar. HOWEVER 7 out of 10 people dont use it (And/Or use it poorly) when typing on a forum.

I dont but I can and truthfully find no real reason to really on quick post and replies on forums.

That was very readable at least most of it was spelled right. And if you cant read that and UNDER STAND IT WITH EASE... Well life must not be easy for you.

TJHfishin, there is an old adage that says "A person has only one chance to make a good First Impression." I will leave it to you to judge for yourself what impression you have made upon your audience. As I've stated before, there are only two reasons for people to use poor grammar and punctuation - ignorance and laziness. Ignorance is forgiven by your audience. Laziness is not.

Nitrofreak, those who know me know that I am not really an ogre. It's my failing that I have a very low tolerance for those who butcher the English language. I suppose it comes with being an Old Fart.

Sent you a PM, and Thanks for your reply!!!

Hasn't it been said that, "anything worth doing is worth doing right"?

Some people really don't know proper grammar/spelling.  It's easy to distinguish between them and those who blatantly desecrate written word with chat-room shorthand.  The latter are the ones who really tick me off.   Yep, I'm old too and don't like to see written word shredded by dissenting attitudes.  Effort involving honest mistakes (though ugly as well) shouldn't deem the guy be dragged backwards through a knot hole in a fence post  ;D

This forum is for fun and learning, not being bashed because you don't type perfect. Its not needed, 95% of people have no problem with poorly wrote posts and reply back about what is being asked. You will always have the people that have to have something to say, just to try and get under someones skin! Its funny and just shows that they are a waste of bandwidth!!

I'm not going to sit and type replies like I am being graded! I come on this site and share my views, not hate on people for this and that!

It's just stupid to try and make people mad or hurt their feelings just because you want to make pricky replies to what someone wrote!!

I'll probably get banned for this but oh well; maybe they should ban the ones that try and bother people and tease people!

Have a good one fellas....

I like legible posts, and consider myself a competent speller. But the grammar pontificating on this site really gets old. My uncle, who I consider to be far and away the most intelligent person I know, has been tossing emails back and forth with me the last couple weeks. I was tickled to see that he doesnt always capitalize the first letter of a sentence. These arent resumes, they are informal internet communications. If it bothers you that much, take your bitter old *** to the home and leave us in peace.
