A period here and there would make your post a whole lot easier to read. Next lesson we will cover CAPITALIZATION.

Wow-where is the love? :)

If a person can't be bothered to take an extra second or two to add proper punctuation and/or capitalization, it makes them seem unintelligent, careless, lazy, and/or disrespectful.

Just my $.02

TJHfishin, you are going to have to start making your posts more legible.  You have been railed on in every thread that you have started.  You may or may not like the attention, but you are not going to get taken seriously until you start typing normally.

I am glad that you got a replacement rod on the way though.

im also guilty of murdering grammar. we are not typing up resumes , but you do need a period or two somewhere in there.

Wow,

Math and a grammar class.

Some of us do have issues putting words into proper grammar, (Myself included) But should you not PM the guy before embarrassing him in front of the whole site?

I am only stating ALL of us are different and some things must be looked over and forgiven.

This is a fishing site with a LOT of well rounded, VERY intelligent people that have a lot to offer.

If someone has a problem with another persons question or statement about fishing then they should take it upon themselves to educate in a private forum or simply do not reply and not turn a question or a statement into a grammar lesson for all to see.

TJHfishn,

Sorry to hear of your misfortune but I am glad that everything worked out for you.

Good luck and I hope you enjoy and catch lots of fish with your new gear!!

He communicated his point to me. Regardless of the grammatical errors, i got his post. If you're so disgusted with the grammer, why even click on reply? .

TJH, guides can be repositioned by bending them back very gently. What kinda rod was it? Sorry, what kind of rod was it?

TJHfishin, there is an old adage that says "A person has only one chance to make a good First Impression."  I will leave it to you to judge for yourself what impression you have made upon your audience.  As I've stated before, there are only two reasons for people to use poor grammar and punctuation - ignorance and laziness.  Ignorance is forgiven by your audience.  Laziness is not.

Nitrofreak, those who know me know that I am not really an ogre.  It's my failing that I have a very low tolerance for those who butcher the English language.  I suppose it comes with being an Old Fart.
