Hey guys,

I've yet to try a line conditioner, even though most guys say they work well.

Can I get some opinions on which one is the best, or do they all work relatively the same?

X 3 The KVD is the only one I will ever use! Great line cond. hands down.Spray on your reels the night before your trip. I have done seminars at Bass Pro and what I do is show the people at the start of the seminar, I show them how bad the line is with memory and how it comes off the reel and then, I show them at the end of my seminar and how the line lost some memory and now is more limp to the line. They are shocked! And it evan works better if put on the night before your trip!

Well I'm going against everyone else here, not because I dont like the KVD, but just because I have not tried it. I use Ardent Line Butter and it is wonderful. It's also made in the good ol USA!

Thanks for all the input guys. Ordered some yesterday. Wish I could find it locally so I don't have to pay shipping!!!!

If you use the line conditioner keep your reels out of a dusty area.  Line conditioner will catch every bit of dust which can cause your baitcaster performance to degrade.

I know everyone recommends the KVD product so I picked me up a bottle.

I tried the KVD recently after going thru a bottle of Ardent. It's safe to say, the Ardent is junk. It's too oily, and gets all over your reels, making them collect dirt. I don't like the slippery reel handles, either.

KVD made my favorite line, P-Line CXX, much more manageable. I didn't think anything could make CXX limp.

I love KVD ,but I must say I have not tried any other conditioner, so I really can't compare them.

You won't regret getting KVD line conditioner. Reel magic doesn't seem to last as long but it does work.KVd absorbs it a little better.I spray it on a fresh spool while spooling up,I've been using 17# test P-line earlier this year with absolutely no issues.I used to hate P-line because of it's manageability issues. Not any more.  ;)
