The first review threw me off. I don't like the sound of that thumb bar being that weak.Yet the guy gave it a 4 star.Doesn't make any sense to me.

You get what you paid for comes to mind....that baitcaster costs less than $40....I'd stay away from it if that was me.I can't see it lasting long at all.

  Don't.....DON'T! These reels run nice for a few trips, but 3 trips into my using it the anti-reverse was giving me issues, the magnetic control mechanism rubs inside the housing, creating a squealing noise, and the plastic piece that covered the thumbar cam off. Its NOT a good purchase...... >;) >:( >:(

I REALLY don't care what brand you buy,

but save your money until you find $100 MSRP

on sale for $50-$75. The cheaper reels are NOT

a bargain.
