I am wanting to get OTHERS opinions on this. Here is what I am working with. (Keep in mind I live in S. Korea, so I have some of the Korean branded stuff IE: NS Blackhole, Surecatch)

If these were all sitting in front of you, brand new. Which reel would you pair with which rod and with what line type/str combination.

And what would you use that combination for. Crankbaits, worms, Jig, Spinnerbait, ect.

---REELS---

Abu Garcia REVO winch 5.4:1

Daiwa Zillion 7.1:1

Abu Garcia Silvermax 6.2:1

BPS Tourney Series 6.3:1

Diawa Megaforce w/bar 7.1:1

---RODS---

St.. Croix Premier Crankbait rod 7' H

Berkley Shock 6'6" MH

NS Blackhole Hurricane 6'3" ML

Surecatch Tournament XP 6'3" M

BPS Tourney Special IM-7 6'6" MH

I agree, I needed something fast and in a hurry. I was too impatient to wait for bps to get stuff over here, once I discovered there were bass here!!!

The setup you described is exactly the way I have them setup. I was wanting to see what others were saying.

I plan on getting some more St. Croix to replace the NS blackhole. But, Much to my suprise, my surecatch Tournament XP is a really nice fast action rod. I was expecting much less out of it honestly.

I am at Humphreys. I fish nearly everyweekend, as well as some weeknights after work. Usually the river since it's so close. This coming weekend I'm going to Andong, I'm fishing the Pro-Am tourney there.

I gave you a call, it may have been too late though. My number is 010-2816-6689

I'm in Incheon.....we were out watching the world cup match ... my phone battery died.... There is really only three rod companys I would buy from Korea JS Company, Damiki and SM Tech.... You can also buy Dobyns Rods here which is best... I'll give ya a call tomorrow....
