senkoking Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 What is good braided line for flipping and pitching? Quote
Whets Lines Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 Personally, I currently prefer Sufix braid. I've used Power Pro and recently switched. One of the things I like about the Sufix is it feels more round to me than the Power Pro. Also, I have had a few bird's nests with Sufix and have not yet been required to cut it out. (I had to cut out a few using PP.) I did use Power Pro all last year which was my first year of serious bass fishing. It worked great. As I gain experience, I'm trying different products. Right now I like Sufix. With all that being said, I'm now using Seaguar Abrazx fluorocarbon on my flipping/pitching set up. Hope this helps you find a starting point. From there, experiment. Good luck. Whets 8-) On a side note, my cousin who I fish with regularly swears by Fireline Braid. Quote
southtexasbassin Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 I use Suffix and Tuff XP. Can't complain. 50 to 65 pound for flipping and pitching heavy cover. Quote
s13john Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 ^ what he said ... id buy fireline ... power pro and suffix are great too Quote
bpNClgmouth Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 Personal preference is Sufix, but like others have said they all work good... Just use 50+ lb. for heavy cover Quote
Super User David P Posted June 3, 2010 Super User Posted June 3, 2010 Daiwa Samurai Braid Nothing can top this line, hands down the winner. Quote
