Super User Crestliner2008 Posted May 17, 2010 Super User Posted May 17, 2010 I use 5, switching presentations on one or two of them as the need dictates. This would have been a great poll thread! Quote
HuntFishAK Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 When I'm shore fishing, 3: 1 spinning, 1 treble hook casting, and one single hook casting rod. When I'm on a boat, 6: 2 spinning and 4 casting. Quote
Super User Bankbeater Posted May 17, 2010 Super User Posted May 17, 2010 In a boat I will usually have 3 or 4. Walking the bank I will have 2 or 3. Quote
Leever Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 4, I fish in a kayak and more than that just get in the way. Usually not the same 4, it is based on where I am fishing and what baits I am throwing. x2 I've found that having any more than three in the 'yak at any given time just cuases more aggravation than anything else. x3 I fish out of a kayak a lot. I agree that any more than 3 rods in the boat at once is very unmanageable. Quote
SJB1226 Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 I carry 25 bait cast set ups and 1 2508 TD-ITO spinning reel. so 26 total Quote
