Both are fine reels.  More than anything it comes down to whether or not you would rather have the 7:1 or 5:1 gears of the Curado or the 6.3:1 gears in the Citica.  Either way, you'll enjoy using the reel you select.

2X ,But I prefer the Curado :)

You can find them online for $95 and $145. I would pay the extra 50 personally and go with the Curado E7.

Hmm, 2 gear ratios from where to choose ( if you fish righty reels ), bigger knobs, propietary knob plastic vs Septon grips , lighter spool .... yup, I would get the Curado if I had to choose between both and had the extra 50 dollars to spend.

Both reels are excellent, I prefer the Curados just because they handle the lighter baits better.

You'll love the Curado. I have both. The Citica is fine for cranks and spinnerbaits, but I prefer the smoothness of the Curado for soft plastics and jigs.

I bought a Curado E7 this year and have been VERY impressed with it. It is sitting on a BCR803GLX(Thanks Bronzefly).

I wish it had a clickable cast control and a little better drag but all in all, I really like it for the money. It's a solid performer and palms well.

Casting is really really nice as well.

I think the next one will be one of those 50MG reels.

The citica is great but the curado even better.

I have both. To be honest, the Curado does feel a little better, but when it comes to cost, I'm more impressed with the Citica. It's an amazing bang for the buck reel for sure.

I don't have a Curado but do have a Citica and I absolutely love it. My fishing buddy has the Curado and I guess I am frugal but not worth the extra $ "for me"

I think until the new E models came out, the Curado (even the old greenies) was head and shoulders above the Citica. Now that the E's are out, I don't think that's true anymore.

I have a Citica now and am planning on getting a Curado next.  But that's just me, I'm that way.  The Citica has been a wonderful reel and even casts things that previously I was only able to throw with a spinning rod.  Either one will be a fantastic reel to own.
