In general, what # test do you use most often? (Not including braid)

If the # test you use isn't list, pick the closest option.

10lb mono on the 4 BC reels that I use most often - not much timber or salad in my waters.

I have other BC reels with 8lb, 12lb, 17lb, and 65lb for specialized applications.

I find myself using 14# test Trilene XT the most. That's my most often used line on casting reels.

8, 10, 12 CXX

10, 12 Trilene Fluoro

I chose 10 lb, since it was the average size, and I use more of it than anything else.

14 the most.what a lot of guys are forgetting is that lb test is not the ony reason to choose a line.diameter is used to help a lure get doen deeper or run shallower.to say you don't need more than 12 is false.there are times i run spinnerbaits and rattle baits on 20 lb diameter line so as to keep them above the weeds.

X2. I sold a reel a while back that was spooled with it. The buyer called wanting to know what it was and where he could get it.
