Ok, I decided, or the monkey decided, I need another light plastic rig.  So I am picking up a 6'6" carbonlite and a shimano sahara spinning setup.  Would you go with a 6lb equivilant braid with a leader/no leader or with flourocarbon/hybrid?

I am going to go with either the 6-6 m with fast tip or the 6-8 with xfast tip.  Haven't 100% decided yet.

Actually I am not a fan of Fireline.  Feels too much like dental floss or something.  I prefer to use the Suffix braid.  I use the 50lb on my punching and frog setup and I use 6lb on my dropshot setup.  But that is just me.  And if the water is real clear, which a couple of lakes I fish are, I always use a leader.  If nothing else I feel more comfortable that the fish aren't hitting cause of me and not the fact that they can see the line.  ;D

After using more than a few lines. I settles on Seaguar InvisX 8lb fluro. This line in 8lb, is like others in 6 lb.

Yep. I use the 12lb for cranking. It has the diameter of 10lb Trilene 100%
