Vinny Chase Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 What type of line do you prefer and what test? Thanks, VC Quote
Lucky Craft Man Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 30 lb. Braid with about a 10 ft. 8 lb. Fluoro Leader. Quote
Vinny Chase Posted May 13, 2010 Author Posted May 13, 2010 30 lb. Braid with about a 10 ft. 8 lb. Fluoro Leader. Do you use a uni knot to tie them together? Or use a double sided swivel? Quote
Super User fourbizz Posted May 13, 2010 Super User Posted May 13, 2010 10lb sufix braid mainline, 4-10lb sunline sniper for leader Quote
Lucky Craft Man Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 Either a uni to uni knot or a blood knot (which is why I like 30 lb. braid, because it has the same diameter as the 8 lb. Fluoro.) I used to use a swivel, but I started to forget it was there and wind in up into my guides. Quote
Super User KYntucky Warmouth Posted May 13, 2010 Super User Posted May 13, 2010 8lb P-Line Flouroclear Quote
Super User SoFlaBassAddict Posted May 13, 2010 Super User Posted May 13, 2010 30 lb. Braid with about a 10 ft. 8 lb. Fluoro Leader. x2 I use 20lb braid though. Bit shorter of a leader. And either 8lb or 12lb fluoro. Uni-uni connection. Quote
bassnleo Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 8 lb braid, 6 lb flouro leader connected with a double uni knot. Quote
Super User S Hovanec Posted May 13, 2010 Super User Posted May 13, 2010 I use 6# Halo or InvizX, which ever is available at the time. Quote
Super User islandbass Posted May 14, 2010 Super User Posted May 14, 2010 here's another vote for invizx in 6#. I can get away with 6# test. choose your line strength according to the cover you will face. Quote
RandySBreth Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 2/10 Spiderwire Stealth and Orvis "Mirage" 2X leader material, tied together with a barrel swivel. Quote
