FishinTN Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 Since TW has a few, I was wondering if anyone has any comments on them. How do they compare to the shimano's for example. I understand it's a japan model, is it harder to get fixed or serviced? Quote
Five-Alive Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 I am wondering the same thing. I turned around and googled the bradia and found news ones on eBay for $285 and TW is asking $149. Quote

LAO162 Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 The Bradia is tempting, but the BaitMonkey just jumped on a Powell rod. Only enough left in PayPal for an Exceler-I couldn't talk TW into a Tierra for the price of an Exceler Quote
coolhandlala Posted May 7, 2010 Posted May 7, 2010 I bought 5 and man they are sweet. The smoothest spinning reels I have ever used. Never used a stella so can't compare to that but they blow away my sustain... I mean the sustain I used to have ;D I replaced my sols, stadics and my sustain with these. You won't be disappointed. .Paxamus. Posted May 7, 2010 Posted May 7, 2010 I have two of them and love them, the drag is buttery smooth! Worth the 149 Quote
FishinTN Posted May 8, 2010 Author Posted May 8, 2010 So would you guys say it's better than a Shimano saros f, and stradic f1? or just equal too? Really on the fence between those 3. Quote
coolhandlala Posted May 8, 2010 Posted May 8, 2010 considering I got rid of a sustain, stradic and sol you can see how I feel about them. They are in a different league than the stradicc and saros IMO. If you watch ebay you can get then for as low as $110 to $125. Quote
