It might be a while before there is feedback on it.  I'm assuming it is made only for Dick's and based upon the Exceler (or I hope it is ).

its normaly $80.00 and its on sale for 50, like I said its a good sale, but its in a plastic package, that right there is its first knock against it in my book

Don't know if you purchased the reel or not, it feels like the exceler models. (I work at Dick's). These reels are worth the $50 Bucks from what I can tell. Also tried the new field and stream rods, the spinning rods are awesome. I am weary of the casting rods as some of them have arrived misshaped and bent. I own the spinning rod and have given the reels my best inspection they seem to be well-made. At least for 50 bucks.

I checked them out this weekend.  Feel like an Exceler.  They were on sale for $59 this weekend.  I'd spend the extra $10 to get an Exceler with an extra spool.  Below $50, I might pick one up.

Overall, they feel like an Exceler, but definately not on par with the Tierra.

After investigating all the reels at Dick's in my price range (<$100), I had settled on the Takara.  The only reason I didn't get it is that I opted to upgrade a rod on a different baitcaster instead.

Of all the reels I tried out, it felt the smoothest.
