Super User .ghoti. Posted April 21, 2010 Super User Posted April 21, 2010 Real Magic, or Reel magic puts a coating on the line which washes off fairly quickly. KVD bonds to the line and will last for as long as I ever keep line on a reel. It just works. Reel Magic is great for spraying down the weather stripping around your car doors in winter. KVD is not. 1 Quote
Super User SPEEDBEAD. Posted April 21, 2010 Super User Posted April 21, 2010 KVD L&L because it works. Any fluoro or mono gets the treatment. Braid gets it if the reel is sitting there. 1 Quote
Super User K_Mac Posted April 21, 2010 Super User Posted April 21, 2010 I can't speak for Reel Magic. I have used KVD for the last couple of months. I was very sceptical, but after reading many good reviews from guys on this forum I decided to give it a try. It works very well. 1 Quote
Five-Alive Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 ditto on K-Mac's reply - I have not used Reel Magic but the KVD conditioner works great for me. 1 Quote
Super User eyedabassman Posted April 21, 2010 Super User Posted April 21, 2010 The KVD line cond. is every thing they say it is! Best stuff I have ever used on a line! Quote
ToledoEF Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 I go to the hardware store and get a can of 100% silicon spray. I think its the same things as KVD but you get a ton of it at a cheaper price. It was in a kvd book a read a while back. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted April 21, 2010 Super User Posted April 21, 2010 No, it's the same as Reel Magic, but KVD Line & Lure Conditioner is COMPLETELY different. http://www.lineandlure.com/freshwater/ 8-) Quote
