Well I gave this a try and to be honest... I hate it. I bought a spool of 12 pound for my spinning reel and this line has the worse memory of any line of used in years.

Birds nest, slinkey line presentations you name it. :)

Maybe I got a bad batch??? Other opinions on the subject.

I switched back to PLine...

What size spinning reel were you using. 12 lb. test sounds awfully big for most bass sized spinning reel.

Pfueger Arbor 7740... Its been great so far with braid and other 12 lb mono. Its new so it's tough for me to say.

Its a great concept... Maybe in 8 or 10 lb it would have less memory.

I bought 12# for use on a baitcaster with jerkbaits. I figured the visibility would be a bonus for strikes with slack in my line. YEAH, the visibility is good. THE MEMORY IS HORRIBLE! NO MORE TRILENE FOR THIS GUY! >:)

are you sure you spooled it on in the right direction?also when spooling any flouro or mono it is advantageous to put the line in hot water and spool it on under tension .this get's rid of memory.also kvd line spray helps.

Liking it and have no issues with 10 on my lipless rod. ::)

I've got some in 15# for jigs & plastics.  Not really having any problems with it, but it really only gets visible to me when it's between me & the sun.  If it's off to the side it's not really that hi-vis.

I've got some neon fire suffix braid ordered to try.  I just don't really care for braid but my vision seems to be getting worse.  I'm hoping that something really stretchy like Big Game or Excel as a 2 1/2-3' leader will give me a little cushion.

I have considered this as well. I'm a bit of a newb equipment wise. When I respooled with PLine I used the hot water technique. Next time I switch to mono I'll update my post.

Thanks

I have 8lbs on one spinnning setup and have not had any problems with it.

I did use KVD L&L and made sure I put it on with plenty of line tension.

Later, :)
