Dave D Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 Hey all! Just wanted to post up some pretty cool reels that might bring back some memories for you all. Dad was going through his stuff and found a bunch of reels he wanted to get rid of and gave me the task of selling them. A few of these reels I have fond memories of and some I've never even seen before. Let me know if any of you recognize any of these oldies but goodies. Are there any of these that I should consider keeping and using? I must admit I'm an Abu round reel guy so I know there is one I'm prob keeping. Enjoy! Newer casting reels first! 1-Abu 5000c - 19?? 2-Browning Aggressor(used twice) - 1998 3-Diawa Procaster - 19?? 4-Sears Ted Williams - 19?? Quote
Dave D Posted April 9, 2010 Author Posted April 9, 2010 Old casting reels next... 1-JCHiggens - 19?? 2-Pflueger Skilkast - 19?? 3-Pflueger Summit - 19?? 4-Shakespeare Direct Drive - 19?? Quote

Pantera61 Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 If the Zebco Cardinal 4s are in sound mechanical condition and cosmetically good condition they could fetch a dollar or two. Quote
Super User cart7t Posted April 11, 2010 Super User Posted April 11, 2010 I believe that Ted Williams model is an old Daiwa Millionaire round reel in disguise. Nice set of reels you've got there in great shape. The Garcia is in excellent shape and worth $$. Quote
ranger 361 Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 DAVE I HAVE SEEN CARDINALS ON E-BAY FOR $50.00 AND UP, I SAY THE BEST DRAG SYSTEM ON ALL THE OLDER REELS TO-DATE. bear7625 Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 Some of those older baitcasters could be worth $$$ to a collector. May be worth your while to check it out. Quote
