krisjack69 Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 I fish strike king ocho stickbaits, trickworms and other weightless baits which of these rods would be best suited for me.Which rod is best for soft plastic.I'm thinking the 7ft mh rod would be good for this. Quote
fishinghusker Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 Sorry, I can't answer your question, but I can say that today I picked one of these up at our local Scheels, along with the new revo sx, and my, if looks amount to anything, it's a beautiful set-up, and I'm anxious to use it. Quote
Diablos Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 I am one of those guys that do the opposite then most on here. I believe that a very good rod can be bought in the 80-150 range but spend more on the reel. I think I own one of every rod in that price range including 3 Vendettas which I really like in the casting models. The reel seat is a little heavy but holds the reel very tight. I have them paired with RevoS, RevoSX and a Revo Winch Quote
krisjack69 Posted April 10, 2010 Author Posted April 10, 2010 Can anyone answer my question?I already have the 7ft med med fast rod.I really like it alot. Quote
GTrombly Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 the rod you already have should be good for the weightless worms unless you buy a spinning rod for that application. i would buy the 7ft MH for T-rigged soft plastics. A spinning rod would probably be easier for casting weightless worms. Quote

Thats my personal favorite size for that type of fishing Quote
