tying on a jig

What is a good knot for tying a  small jig on 20lb fluorocarbon?

I use either a San Diego Jam or a Polamar knot. Both seem to work just as well in my experience. It just depends on my mood which one I go with.

I just started using the palomar. Easy to tie, strong, what was I thinking before? Great knot.

Clinch knot, not improved clinch knot.

When you get hung up, you can pull it loose, and not cut your hand or destroy your reel.

Improved clinch or Trilene knot is fine.

The Palomar knot is overrated when using fluorocarbon...

(and using a Palomar knot, might be tough getting two strands of 20lb line through a small jig eye)

Use 55 or 65 lb braid, and there are no hang ups..you pull out whatever your lure/jig is hung on.. ;D
