Quantum Accurist, How Much?

My brother gave me a Quantum Accurist 7:1 gears. It is a year old and he told me he payed $ 150 for it new! He did owe me $ 150 and he did ask me if I would take the reel as payment, it looks like a good reel just not sure what he payed for it! is he trying to con me? LOL.

The Accurist and the Accurist PT reels range from $50.00 new to $100.00 new, depending on model. Try googling your exact model. Ebay is a good source of used reel values.

The reel may be a year old from when he bought it but remember, the Accurist was not in Quantum's line up last year. The reel has to be an '08 model at best. They just brought it again back this year.

ummm... yes....sorta.

the last accurist pt. released (two years ago) went for roughly 139. on sale you could get it for roughly 125.

now you can get them on ebay n.i.b. for around 60-75.

used ones go for around 30 -50.

the one your brother is giving you... even if new in the box... even if he paid 150 for it new.. which he could have....isnt worht more than about 100 dollars now. and thats if youre being nice to him cause hes your brother.

if its used tell him thanx for the reel and he still owes you 100 bucks. lol.

its great reel though. have fun with it. i love mine!

Good one, but I did show my brother all these posts and now he made another offer= he wants to give me a Citca used only last year! I told him that I would take the Citca and also keep the Accurist for trying to con me!

last years citica and an accurist pt is getting alot closer to that 150 bucks.
