Hey guys I been planning on buying some Rat-L-Traps from BPS but there is about 50 different colors to chose from. I'm fishing mostly stained water, have any ideas for which color?

Doesn't matter, as long as it has chrome sides  ;)

Or a good old red craw pattern.

for stained water try the baby bass color   if u are fishing around weeds a darker version of shad color will work as well   now if u do ever fihs clear water white/transparent or even natural shad colors work the best

This has been my killer for stained water recently. The best of both dark profile and flash. It is called ebony shad.Kind of a rare color. All black with blood red eye,red breast, and silver holograhic chrome sides.Deadly! Looks rainbowish but thats the way the light catches it at an angle.

If you plan on coming to florida add a few gold ones to your tackle box.

I mainly throw 3 colors.  Diamond Shad, Red Chrome, and Chartruese/Black.  They all work in dirty water as well as clear.

Good luck

I throw Red Chrome for pre-spawn & then Gold/Black Back/Orange Belly the rest of the year
