I up graded a st croix mojo pitchin rod model # mbc76mhmf is a 7'6'' mh mf action to a legend tournament bass of the same specs but just noticed it was telesopic where does it telescope and for you all that have tried it how did you like it just wondering if I might have made a mistake

buddy , you just made a true upgrade , you will know it when you hold it in your hands . when you fish it , it will make you wish you bought the legend tourn. in the first place

I hate telescoping rods and will not buy one but it is surely an upgrade for you. The LT are ultra sensitive and really light.

it telescopes between the reel seat and the first guide up from the reel seat ...

Good upgrade. You won't be upset. The downside of a telescopic rod is a very slight loss of sensitivity becasue the blank is not continuous, but LTB is such a huge step up from a Mojo that I think you'll be very pleased with the sensitivity and remarkably improved balance.

Although, if I had the choice between a telescopic rod and a 1 piece with identical actions, I would choose a 1 piece by a slim margin because I don't find the telescoping feature useful, my boat locker fits 8 footers.

I will be useing the rod for pitching jigs and soft plastics like beavers and craws still not sure about the telescoping part what are some of your opinions stick with the 7'6'' mhmf rated for lures up to 1.25 oz and 12-25 lb line or go with a solid 7' mh rod with a fast or moderate action rated for 1 oz lures and 10-20 lb line

You don't want a moderate action. A 7' MHM is cranking stick for big cranks.

The length of a pitching rod would depend on your height and comfort level with long rods. I use rods between 7' 5" and 7' 11" for my pitching duties, but I'm 6' 4" tall.

Also, you might want to try using some basic punctuation so your posts aren't so difficult to read. More people will offer opinions if you do.  I've noticed this in many forums.   :

if i were you and i wanted a rod out of the legend tourn. series for flipping and pitching , i would get the 7'3" heavy fast action (LTBC73XHF) , i like a heavy powered rod with a fast tip to get good hook sets when i flip and punch mats . those rods are light and plenty strong , you could pitch all day with out a sore shoulder the next day !!!

even if you go to another rod brand , in my opinion , you would be better off with a heavy powered , fast action blank ........

I have the LTBC70MHXF (Have had it for about two months) and I like the rod, but if I'm pitching jigs of that size around docks and laydowns, I want a shorter rod.  (FTR I"m just over or just under 6', it depends on how straight I stand)  I actually use a "dirty word" rod for that purpose, but the length is right, it's sensitive, and likely the only rod in the entire series that's worth a hoot.  It's a 6'10" XMLTi, and the only rod in that series I've handled that I didnt want to destroy on sight... /diatribe

The LTBC70MHXF is a great rod for small jigs, but I've not had it in tight quarters as yet.  I've been using it for deep jigs, which is why I bought it, and I love it for that.

As soon as I can get it, the rod I want for pitching is the 6'8" Cumara.

I JUST upgraded my Spinning Mojo 7'M,f to a LegendTB 7'M,f (after the mojo snapped). The difference is awesome, I love that Legend T/B, incerease in sensitivity is substanstial. Great rod. Mojo is good for the price, but for a higher end rod, I love the Legend. Just got a cumara recently, but have'nt used it much yet to compare. So far though I'm really impressed with the Legend.
